6C Christmas Community Poem

I can't wait til Christmas eve

It's my favorite time of the year

I don't want it to leave 

Santa Claus is my biggest fear

Candy canes and Christmas trees

Presents and Christmas Shopping

I ask my mom to go on the Christmas train with a please

But the trains are still swapping

The snow is coming down

As Santa eats the treats

Snow falls over the town

While Santa constantly eats

Everyone is happy with the holiday cheer

Carolers sing their favorite song

They practice to sing it nice and clear

Their song is really, really long

It's almost Christmas Eve now!

Only 5 days more

I know someone who wants a cow

Oh how that will be a chore 

On Christmas you spend time with family

AND MAYBE EVEN YOUR DOG

It is a time to be lively

And look out at the bright fog.

I hear the fat man is coming

He better stay away from my cake

Maybe he'll be humming  

Or maybe he will bake
